Sculpture in jewels

Works of art that can be easily worn. This phrase embodies the essence of the creations of Daverio1933, an Italian company specializing in handmade jewelry and founded 37 years ago: it was 1980 when Luke Daverio opened to Bergamo his first workshop and began producing unique embossed and chiselled pieces, referring to the art inherited from his father. In his atelier, Luke Daverio creates original jewelry, harmonious, pleasant to wear but also immortal in their beauty, thanks to the knowledge learned as a child watching his father, sculptor and painter work. To pay homage to him, his teacher, Luke Daverio the lab called Daverio1933; the date refers to the year in which the father made his first jewels: copper jewels, defined as “miniature sculptures”.
For his creations, he uses only quality materials. He works almost exclusively gold, diamonds and colored stones. A bit artist, a bit stylist, a bit architect and a bit restorer: these are the many facets of Luke Daverio. Like an artist, she designs her jewels by letting herself be inspired by the moment. His personality is unmistakable and he passes it on to those who appreciate his creations. Like a stylist, he designs real ones capsule collection. Among these stands ForEverHug Me (hug me forever), because the pieces that make it up are reminiscent of hugs. Like an architect, he realizes projects requested by clients by analyzing their tastes and requests.
Finally, as a restorer, he gives life to old jewels again. All this because: «Whoever buys one of our jewelry identifies their own style and taste by sharing with it our company philosophy of uniqueness». Christmas approaches, a turn to Bergamo provides a mandatory stop from Daverio 1933 to end the evening with a flourish in an excellent restaurant in Bergamo Alta, by candlelight ...
